Art Explorers is an 8-week afterschool art enrichment program designed to engage children ages 7 -10 in creative, mindful, and expressive art-making. The program nurtures emotional growth, social interaction, and artistic experimentation using a trauma-informed, developmental approach grounded in the principles of art therapy and child-centered education. It invited children into an enriching, process-based art experience through imaginative play, collaborative projects, and guided self-expression in a supportive environment.
Class Highlights
8 Classes: Explore different mediums with child-led discovery

Art Gallery: Show off their hard work in a week-long Art Gallery and at Playcrafter Kids’ Winter showcase on February 24
Instructor: Work with Michelle Ramus, a professional creative in our community

Supports the whole child: emotionally, socially and cognitively
Enhances self-regulation, self-expression, and confidence

Ages: 7 - 10
Class Size: 6 - 10 creators
Investment: $265 includes supplies
