Cabaret Kids: Alice in Wonderland
Step through the looking glass and into the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland in this exciting afterschool performing arts class! Based on Jennifer Reif’s 20-minute adaptation of the beloved classic, this program invites young performers to bring curious characters and fantastical scenes to life on stage—with a musical twist!
Working with a theater teacher and music instructor, students will not only rehearse lines and staging, but also help create and perform original songs inspired by the story. From tea parties with the Mad Hatter to encounters with the Queen of Hearts, this class is a joyful blend of acting, singing, and creative collaboration.
🎭 Final Performance: All students will perform Alice In Wonderland at Cabaret Kids LIVE on Saturday, December 6th—a performance you won’t want to miss!
Includes:
- 12 classes plus 1 dress rehearsal and 1 performance
- Work with 2 professional instructors in every class
- Playcrafter Kids t-shirt or book for returning performers
- Simple costumes and props

Class dates: September 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; November 6, 13, 20; December 4 (No class on November 27)
Dress Rehearsal: Friday, December 5 @ 4:30-6:30 PM
Performance: Saturday, December 6 @ 2 PM
Bonus!: Hot Cocoa & Cookie Reception after the performance with an invitation to carol with the Playcrafter Kids community in Old Town starting at 4:30 PM.
