The Grunch (Full Day, 2 week camp)

Calling all dedicated young performers ages 7-12! In this immersive two-week, full-day camp, campers will experience the thrill of building a show from the ground up. Working as part of an ensemble, campers will dive into a 60-minute production of The Grunch, inspired by The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Together, they’ll explore every aspect of theater: developing characters, learning music and choreography, mastering stage directions, and even helping to create props and sets. Every performer will have a role, and everyone’s contributions will shine!
About the Show: The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual musical, he hatches a mischievous plan to steal the sets, costumes, and lights the night before opening. But can the magic of theater melt even the grumpiest heart?
Important Notes: This camp is designed for serious young performers ready to take their craft to the next level. A video audition is required before the camp starts, with resources provided to help participants prepare. Casting will be completed two weeks prior to the first day, giving actors time to familiarize themselves with the script.
Performances will be held on 7/24 and 7/25.

2025 REGISTRATION DETAILS
- You’ll pay $50/per camper to reserve a spot.
- You’ll receive a Brightwheel invoice for the camp’s remainder minus the registration fee.
- A Brightwheel invitation will be sent via email along with required paperwork: (1) registration form, (2) health appraisal, and (3) immunization records.
- If returning from 2024 summer camp, you’ll receive new paperwork and an invoice.
